The road to a sectional championship begins next week at Silver Creek High School as teams from around the area compete in the 2025 IHSAA Girls Soccer Sectional. Action kicks off on Tuesday, October 7, with two first-round matchups scheduled for 5:30 p.m. as Corydon Central faces Charlestown and 7:30 p.m when Madison Consolidated (the defending champion) faces North Harrison. The winners will advance to Thursday’s semifinal round set for 5:30 p.m. and the Warriorettes will face host Silver Creek in the 2nd semifinal at 7:30 p.m. The tournament will conclude on Saturday, October 11, with the sectional championship match under the lights at 6:00 p.m. The sectional champion will not only earn hardware but also the opportunity to move on to the IHSAA Regional, keeping their postseason dreams alive.
