SCOTTSBURG — The Scottsburg Warriors JV golf team put together a strong performance to secure a team victory Wednesday at Westwood Golf Course, finishing atop a four-team field. The Warriors posted a team score of 169, outpacing Austin (180), Crothersville (175*), and New Washington (197) in the quad meet. Leading the way for Scottsburg was Jarin Luttrell, who earned medalist honors with an impressive round of 39. Luttrell’s consistent play set the tone for the Warriors and helped anchor the team score. Scottsburg showed solid depth throughout the lineup. Gavin Jones followed with a 40, while Owen Brown and Jacob June each carded 45s. Bennett Pearcy rounded out the scoring with a 46. Austin was led by Cam Watts and Eli Weddle, who each shot 42, while New Washington’s top scorer finished with a 45. Crothersville competed with a limited lineup. With the win, the Warriors continue to build momentum as they develop consistency across their lineup.
